A.K.I.M.A.L.Y.A.H.

stands for

Always Knowing Important Men and Ladies! You Are Here!

The concept behind the title is to allow you, whoever you maybe to know that “YOU ARE IMPORTANT". You count in everyway and without you "we" can't exist. Everyone is here to serve a purpose and the emphasis on you is imperative because you, as the person reading my book are very important.

This is a book of poems written by a young lady using the acronym A.K.I.M.A.L.A.H. in order to show the importance of everyone in one another’s life.

Each poem deals with a fact that occurred in her life that enhanced her  existence as it is today...the things that happened in her life to make her the strong, vibrant person she is today.

Most of the facts have been hidden inside her because of the pain and trauma they caused most emotionally and physically.

Because writing has been a means of release, and a way of healing , she has been writing poems and sections of a book for the last few years, thus the title of
her book.....A.K.I.M.A.L.Y.A.H...

Dedicated and Uplifted

on behalf of:

All those silent voices that cant' be raised but want to be heard,

To those that want to scream to the world but for some circumstances you can't

To the ladies that sit in prison because you had to fight you way through

To those men who are still fighting because you don't know how to face you

To the ones that had to die in order to bring about awareness

God Bless the Souls:

1. Jackie Jones, Troy, NY ( hammered to death by boyfriend)

2.  Donna Tas, Albany, NY (1980's beat to death by babies father)

3.  Gentleman who got stabbed 26 times (what's worse the media stated that

there was a history witth this couple.  Which means to me that the

system failed both the man and the woman who stabbed him.

4.  3 People that died due to jealous ex-boyfriend (1990's Ida Yarbrough)

5.  3 Young men that died due to a jealous friend who wasn't happy with

his life; including the three 16 year old young man who was playing

    video game. (2008)

6.  To the ones I can't name, it's so many; do we have to continue to die in order

     to be heard?

7.  To all the families that lost someone due to any kind of violence..

THIS STRUGGLE IS FOR EVERYONE

IF WE DON'T  RAISE OUR VOICES

IT WILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN

BECAUSE WE WILL LOOSE OUR RIGHT TO CHOICE

RAISE YOUR VOICE,

SPEAK UP!

SPEAK UP!

SPEAK UP!

A lot of things Unspoken

In me those nerves are poking

Another nightmare, jumped up,

Now I’m woken

Keep telling me to get over it

They must be joking.

What’s wrong with these people?

Are they smoking?

Over my shoulder I will be looking.

2001 they had me shaken

In me the Holy Spirit is cooking.

My soul is on fire.

Stay righteous is what I desire.

Jesus, He is who I admire.

Tears in me are drier.

If you tell me that God don’t love me,

You are a liar.

Enemy broken

Words no longer
