Just a few things that happened in my life to allow you to see
That because of the grace of God that i was able to
survive.
I'm a survivor because I can now speak about what
happened.
I'm surviving because that is what God ordained in my life
to bring my surviving skills to the forefront so that i may
help someone esle to also survive.
IM A SURVIVOR

waiting for my muffler to be put in.
It was my pride they tried to take and beat.
Thought I couldn't take the heat.
But instead of arguing I just took a seat.
He demanded to speak.
You dont understand
There is nothing you can demand
I've done what I can
There is something inside of me that is deep.
For you I will not take a leap.
You're too loud I rather be discreet
You can't be apart of this
There is something you have missed
God is my driver
Thats what makes me
A SURVIVOR.

While working on this volume it helped me to realize that I'm working towards healing.

As a Christian - it doesn't stop you from going through trails and tribulations; it helps you to learn how to adjust the them.

The people that were all involved never served any time in jail

Justice was not received - the system failed the victim

I strive to be more of a victor then a victim today
VICTOR vs. VICTIM
As a Victim
You stay distraught
No it’s not your fault
It’s a matter of time
Before they are caught
Getting help you wouldn’t receive
It’s what they thought
As a Victor
You are redeemed
Get to you again it would seem
No this is not a dream
God is going to soothe you
With some
Spiritual Cream
Being A Victim
We have to be honest
We pick them
It’s our fate
So now its time to negotiate
Your life you need to regulate
Come don’t hesitate
Pray unto God meditate
As A Victor
You walk around sure
Because you now know
Where you are going to
get your cure
Your lifestyle is pure
Because in God, it’s you He adores
Knowing we don’t have to
Stay with them
Nor walking around being a
Victim
As a Victim
You are around them as they are being arrogant
Seeming desperate
Days are becoming more
More delegate
The abuse is getting bad
Your surrounding is becoming
intoxicated
Victim gets disses
Victor gets kisses
Victim stays in a drought
Victor says I’ll do without
Victim says it’s about my spouse
Victor kicks out of the house
Victims allows him to cheat
Victor allows themselves to speak
Victims is disregarded
Victor allows life anew and to be started
Victims have to compete
Victor says ‘Without God I’m not
Complete.”
Victim tries to stay discreet
Victor tells you she
Can’t be defeat
BONDAGE vs. FREEDOM
Bondage
Will have you thinking
That your life is sinking
Smoking and drinking
Loosing yourself slowing sinking
Life going away as fast as eyes blinking
Freedom:
Knowing full well your life there is no control
Walking with your head high
Because you know to whom you only
Not worried about a thing
Because you know they will
Fill you with lies
And you know that it’s the
Truth that they despise
Bondage:
Keep you locked
Truth blocked
Time slowly clocked
You refusing God as he knocks
You try to believe
Help you try to receive
They continue to deceive
It’s only you they mocked
Freedom:
Gives you the victory
Because it’s God you see
You will know it’s not about you or me
Righteous you strive for
Because victory is at the door
Believe in God he will
Bondage leave you stranded
Freedom is what God demanded
Bondage gives you no way out
Freedom is without an doubt
Bondage makes you think they have clout
Freedom tells you that’s not what it is about
Bondage makes you believe there’s no way in
Freedom says you can win
Bondage keeps you behind bars
Freedom says look to the stars
Bondage have you scared
Freedom shows you God cares
Bondage will have you thinking that what you
Are doing that’s wrong is clever
Freedom gives you the truth
HOW TO ESCAPE
You’re on a date
He seems alright
Things are going fine tonight
But all of a sudden
Bam, but you didn’t do nothing
You wonder what happen
As he continues on slapping
You tried to leave
But it’s you wondering happening
You leave him physically
But you are still there mentally
You have to learn to break free
Because he still have you emotionally
You’re wondering how could this be?

If I told you, 'he was outside would you be the same?'
Or will you say hide me, and say, 'I must remain?'
Please don’t believe this is your fault
If you go with them
You won’t be caught
Those night mares will leave you distraught

Mentally, emotionally, physically
He continues to rape

I DESERVE RESPECT
Who are you ?
What do I need to do?
How do I get to your heart?
Where do I start?
Look at me!
Not the outside you see
I need you to look deep
Don’t rush just creep
Yes maybe sometimes I need to weep
Why don’t you understand that
I don’t need you to be complete?
Because of God’s love I don’t need to compete
It’s not too complicated
You have to understand that to me
I’m dedicated
So from you I don’t need to be validated
It takes two of us in order for us to utilize
This is what I’ve communicated
Time have to be decelerated
In order to get to you
We have to investigated
My past is extricated
I am a queen
I don’t need to be treated mean
I don’t have to be seen
When you come hear me just make
Sure of your past, your heart is clean
Because I will not be demeaned
This is what I expect
You have to get your attitude in check
If you have any
Preconceived ideals you need to something to wreck
Because I demand for you to understand that
