"Ms. Judkins you are a valued colleague and neighbor and you have been most gracious and forthcoming and comprehensive in your sharing of your perspectives and your experiences. You have indeed noted the key component that you are well aware of confidence, and that you are careful to sepeate your public advocacy on various community and public safety issues from confidential information you may become party to through your interning experience. I would urge you to continue to build coalitions, to continue in your and our whole community-wide responsiblity to observe what is happening in our neighborhoods and community, and to speak out in various forums on the issue of the day. I hope others will join in with their respective perspectives and I do sincerely thank you for your continued willingness to be an effective public advocate on issues concerning how we end the violence including the gun violence, gun crime, illegal gun possession in the City, County of Albany and the entire Capital Region and State of New York and nation, how we may give our young people and adults hope, how we may all work together. Ms Judkins, I hope the entire community will note how much your willingness to be heard on these important issues is appreciated. And while i never met the late beloved Reverend Dr. King, I have no doubt that his spirit lives on, and that were he here today with us at this time, he would thank you for your advocacy, for your cairng for without such advocacy and caring , our goal of the "Beloved Community" is unattainable." Leonard Morgenbesser PhD 01/14/2006
"Ms. Judkins thank you for the update. You are one of the most conscientious and comprehensive advocated I have met in my 32 years in this community. You are a role model in taking the responsibilities of community and citizenship seriously, in attempting to foster dialogue by sharing your perspectives. I wish more people would take the time to share their perspectives. I look forward to working with you and others to make our community better." Leonard I Morgenbesser, PhD 12/02/2005
"Thank you Barbara Judkins for your caring, and for your tireless attempts to motivate the community and to facilitate understanding. We need more people like you God Bless" Leonard Morgenbesser, PhD 12/13/2005
"You are the Moses for this movement, getting all victims to the Promised Land of safety. You are the Noah, becuase you are building places of refuge for all victims, giving them a place to stay when the "floods" of their circumstances overwhelm them. You are the Martin Luther King/Corretta Scott King of this age, enlightening people of the discrimination done through domestic violence to both the victims and those wrongly accused of that crime. You are the Farrakhan of this age for you are willing to say the Truth no matter what the back lash is. You are willing to say the things that others don't want to say they don't want to be labeled as being politically incorret. But above all, you are God's Woman, a phenomenal woman who rises up to the occassion of fulfilling God's purpose for your life. This is how I know that despite your "weak moments" your spirit is right with the Lord becuase you have a passion and desire to do what He on only He has placed within you to do. This is what true worship is. Real worship is about how we live our life......." Dr. Rhonda J. Ferson, 12/21/2005

"I am so happy about your workshop; God is going to do such great things to you. All that Douglas and his mama have done won't even show up when God begins doing things through you. One day they will look up on Oprah and see you there and the only consolation they can give themselves is that because of what they had done only moved you further into the purpose that God had for your life. So now you can begin praising God for the struggles! Because of them, you are on a road of greatness. I know many people were helped through your workshop and I can't wait to see the great testimonies that comes form this. I hope that one day, Barbara Judkins the Paralegal is Barbara Judkins esquire Attorney-At Law. I am so proud of how you became and advocate for your brother. Take them down and show them what you are working with, ya heard"? It is time, "Stand." Dr. Rhonda J. Ferguson, Author, Minister, Song Writer, 11/11/2005

Ms. Judkins, as was the case in my earlier praise to you earlier this morning on your courage in sharing with all of us your personal experinces and perspectives living through many difficult times in your community, I wish to now join my respected colleague Dr. Kevin Jobin-Davis in again praising you highly for being a true educator in our midst, a true leader in our midst, a true inspiration in our midst. I know that Dr. Jobin-Davis and I welcome your continuing heartfelt educating of all involved communities, and I believe that various opportunities will unfold where we all can participate as we together collaborate on solutions to ending the violence thats impacting many in our neighborhoods. I am also sharing this with my good friends and collagues Mr. John Cutro who mediated the Healing Circle I.....God bless you for your compassion, your comparing, and your generosity. You have said from the heart very powerfully what some of us have been trying to sketch out datawise from the epidemiology perspective, the vastness of the violence epidemic at a time when politicians seem to want us to believe that we are safe, that crime is plummeting. Bless you." Leonard I Morgenbesser, PhD,, 12/26/2005
