Working Together to End the Violence
Nearly 25% of surveyed women and 8% of surveyed men said they were raped and/or physically assaulted by a
current or former spouse, cohabiting partner, or date at some time in their lives. Domestic violence is wrong. It
affects not only the direct victims, but their children and families as well. Working together, men and women can change attitudes and perceptions about domestic violence.
